Olumireggae stirs the air with a hit music Video titled Asanwa

Born Obi Helen Adaobi Sheila OHAC also known as OLUMIREGGAE from the Eastern part of Nigeria Anambra state Awka, has finally dropped a hit Music video cum hit single titled ‘Asanwa’, which takes its title from the Igbo word for “pretty girl” and features pop act Sammy.S.

In Africa most especially Lagos her place of birth , Olumireggae has gained her popularity while she is now based in Italy, where she founded the record label OHAC.

Her new song is performed in Igbo language and was written by Olumireggae herself and Sammy.S, with DJ Freshmike as the producer

The song was inspired by Igbo pop and highlife artist Flavour and 1980s’ star Bright Chimezie. Lyrically, it adds a new chapter to the well-established “good girl gone bad” narrative and sees a young girl declare her freedom from other people’s expectations.

Olumireggae describes the song as being about “a pretty girl” talking about how she has been welcomed and admired into a system that she has been shying away [under the influence of her parents.

Olumireggae as she is popularly known by her stage is currently working with a new management team from OHAC RECORDS. Inspired by the culture of her homeland, this beautiful act decided to explore her God given talent with this music Video Asanwa.
