Ghanaian gospel artist Kofi Owusu Dua Anto, known as KODA, has passed away at 45 after a short illness, sources close to him have confirmed. KODA was renowned for his uplifting melodies and impactful compositions, leaving a lasting legacy in the Ghanaian music scene.
A respected figure in the gospel industry, KODA was praised for his soulful voice, production skills, and songwriting talent. His recent album, “Keteke,” released in January 2021, received critical acclaim and commercial success, featuring hits like “Nsempii,” “Nkwa Abodoo,” “Yapai,” and “Adorso,” which resonated deeply with audiences.
KODA’s work extended beyond his own music, as he also produced for artists such as the late Danny Nettey, Ps. Joe Beechem, Nii Okai, and Halal Afrika, among others. Known for his positive messages and infectious energy, KODA’s music inspired hope and faith.
